- Utilize Power Query (M language) to connect to Databricks data sources, perform initial data shaping, and load data into Power BI.
- Experience with Power BI Service for publishing, sharing, and managing content, including workspaces, apps, and gateways.
- Strong hands-on experience with dedicated SQL pools, serverless SQL pools, Synapse Pipelines, and integration with Power BI.
- Hands-on experience connecting Power BI to Azure Synapse Dedicated SQL Pools and Serverless SQL Pools.
- Understand and advise on best practices for data modeling (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) within Azure Synapse to facilitate efficient Power BI reporting.
